I love when something looks extremely serious but the actual story is just a little bit ridiculous. That was basically the fun of The Briefcase.

The visual world was polished and cinematic, but the humour was dry and character-driven. My involvement was around performance and voice work, with a lot of attention paid to pacing because the joke only works if you do not oversell it.

Tbh, that balance is harder than it looks. You have this beautiful Rolls-Royce, formal wardrobe, dramatic framing, and then these tiny moments that quietly break the seriousness. I really liked getting to work inside that contrast.

Behind the role

The fun for me was finding how little I needed to do. The more seriously the characters treated the situation, the funnier the story became.

01

Finding the tone

I worked within a dry, cinematic style where the humour had to feel understated rather than performed for a laugh.
02

Voice work

I recorded voiceover material focused on the experience and helped give the piece a more character-led feel.
03

Performance

I leaned into small reactions, timing, and restraint so the comedy could sit underneath the luxury visuals.

What stayed with me

A luxury brand can still be funny. In fact, I think the contrast makes the world feel more memorable.
