Tbh, this one felt very different from the commercial projects I had been doing. The stories were real, the people cared deeply about the animals, and I did not want the content around the series to feel performative.
I worked with Hayle on ideas for how I could be introduced into the Pawsitive Vibes Only social feed, using interviews, research, BTS footage, and my own perspective to build curiosity around the rescue stories. I was also preparing around the event and MC side of the project, which pushed me to think more like an interviewer and less like someone simply delivering lines.
What I liked was getting to learn first. Meeting people involved in rescue and hearing how they actually speak about the work gave me something real to respond to. That made the content feel much more human.
